Investor Relations Graduate Trainee

About the role

The Investor Relations Graduate Trainee will support One Acre Fund’s loan compliance, reporting, and lender due‑diligence functions. This paid internship offers hands‑on experience in financial reporting, data management, and stakeholder communication within a mission‑driven agricultural organization.

Key responsibilities

• Draft lender reports (annual questionnaires, quarterly financial reports, ad‑hoc requests) under supervision.
• Coordinate with the payments team to ensure timely interest payments.
• Assist with reconciliations related to debt, refundable advances, and FX hedging during quarterly close.
• Prepare the quarterly financial health dashboard for senior IR team review.
• Maintain IR processes and systems (Loan tracker, Salesforce, RiskScreen) and ensure data accuracy.
• Organise loan documentation and support administrative tasks for new retail notes and loans.
• Support lender relationship management and due‑diligence analyses, preparing spreadsheets and written summaries as needed.

Required profile

• Recent graduate from an African university with strong interest in finance or investor relations.
• Detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple reporting tasks.
• Analytical mindset with ability to work collaboratively across teams.
