IT Technician Internship

About the role

This internship offers hands‑on experience supporting the IT infrastructure of a fast‑growing tech company. You will work directly with customers to diagnose and resolve software and hardware issues while gaining exposure to network configuration and account setup.

Key responsibilities

• Research and identify solutions for software and hardware problems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration.
• Ask targeted questions to quickly understand the root cause of customer problems.
• Track product system issues through to resolution within agreed time limits.
• Guide clients via phone, email or chat until the issue is resolved.
• Escalate unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
• Provide prompt and accurate feedback to customers.
• Reference internal databases or external resources to deliver accurate technical solutions.
• Log all issues correctly and prioritize multiple open tickets.
• Follow up with clients to ensure their IT systems remain functional after troubleshooting.
• Prepare accurate and timely reports on support activities.
• Maintain cordial relationships with clients.

Required profile

• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify root causes quickly.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers via phone, email or chat.
• Ability to manage several open issues simultaneously and meet resolution deadlines.
• Customer‑focused attitude and willingness to follow up on resolved cases.
