IWS Deployment Manager

About the role

The IWS Deployment Manager will lead the implementation of the Integrated Work System (IWS) programme at our Nairobi site. Working closely with the IWS Manager and Operations teams, you will ensure that IWS activities are loss‑focused, aligned with Compelling Business Need (CBN) and delivered at the pace set by senior leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Drive site‑level IWS programme implementation, ensuring all phases are embedded and standards are met.
• Conduct daily consultative reviews and on‑site tours to identify performance losses and re‑application opportunities.
• Coordinate with pillar leads to embed current‑phase DMS/SWP standards and maintain a tracking workbook.
• Lead 90‑day planning cycles for assigned pillars/systems and align them with the site master plan.
• Provide learning materials, training and coaching to teams on Autonomous and Progressive Maintenance.
• Perform regular health checks of IWS tools and systems, reporting feedback to Operations.
• Maintain the IWS organisational chart and calendar to ensure full stakeholder participation.
• Facilitate quarterly IWS pillar phase assessments.

Required profile

• Proven experience in implementing IWS or similar manufacturing improvement programmes.
• Strong ability to work with cross‑functional teams, including Operations leadership, equipment owners and technicians.
• Experience conducting performance reviews, health checks and training sessions.
• Capability to manage planning cycles, track progress and drive corrective actions.
