Junior Interior Designer

About the role

We are looking for a Junior Interior Designer to join our Nairobi office on a full‑time basis. The role supports senior designers in creating interior concepts for residential and commercial projects, preparing mood boards and assisting with space planning.

Key responsibilities

• Support senior designers in developing interior concepts and mood boards.
• Assist with space planning for residential and commercial projects.
• Create and update construction drawings using design software.
• Coordinate FF&E selections to ensure cohesive design solutions.
• Conduct site visits and document project progress.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery.
• Ensure design solutions align with client requirements and budget.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture or a related field.
• Portfolio showcasing academic or professional interior design projects.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp or Revit (or similar drafting tools).
• Knowledge of interior design, space planning and FF&E coordination.
• Understanding of construction drawing standards.
