About the role

The Kilimo Loan Officer will promote agricultural loan products across the Mt. Kenya region, working directly with farmers to support their financing needs. This full‑time, on‑site position is ideal for candidates with a background in agriculture, finance or business and a passion for rural development.

Key responsibilities

Promote and market agricultural loan products to farmers.
Assess credit applications and evaluate farmers’ repayment capacity.
Follow up on loan repayments and ensure timely collections.
Maintain accurate client records and loan documentation.

Required profile

Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agribusiness, Finance, Business or a related field.
Minimum of two years’ experience in agricultural lending or related credit work.
Willingness to work on‑site covering the Mt. Kenya region.
