Logistics Officer – eMobility

About the role

We are seeking a Logistics Officer to keep M‑KOPA’s mobility assets moving smoothly across Kenya. You will coordinate vehicle deliveries, inter‑branch transfers, and fleet records while ensuring compliance with transport policies.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate inbound and outbound movement of vehicles and mobility assets between OEMs, warehouses, dealers, and retail outlets.
• Execute delivery schedules, inter‑branch transfers, and asset returns with a focus on timeliness and cost efficiency.
• Oversee corporate taxi services, airport transfers, car‑hire arrangements and manage related vendor payments.
• Track daily stock movements, support monthly stock takes and reconcile inventory.
• Monitor corporate cab and staff transport usage, assist with fleet maintenance, swaps and vehicle availability.
• Report accidents, incidents or breakdowns promptly and follow up to maintain fleet uptime.
• Liaise with Sales, Customer Experience, Retail Operations, Finance and technical teams to ensure timely fulfilment.
• Prepare and submit logistics documentation such as delivery notes, waybills, fuel records and expense reports.
• Verify that drivers, riders and vehicles hold valid licences, insurance and statutory documents before deployment.
• Support incident reporting, audits and compliance reviews by maintaining accurate records.

Required profile

• A Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or equivalent experience.
• 2–3 years of experience in logistics, distribution or transport operations.
• Strong attention to accuracy in documentation and reporting.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Basic Excel for reporting and data tracking.
