Maintenance Analyst

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Maintenance Analyst to support operations on Diego Garcia. The role focuses on analyzing and optimizing maintenance programs to maximize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct detailed analysis of maintenance schedules and activities to identify inefficiencies and trends.
• Monitor fleet performance data, develop strategies to improve uptime, and adjust maintenance plans accordingly.
• Develop and maintain reporting systems, prepare performance reports, and provide data‑driven insights.
• Perform root cause analysis for equipment failures and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
• Support predictive and preventive maintenance programs and ensure compliance with standards.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in maintenance analysis, planning, or related data‑driven roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Ability to pass contract medical requirements, obtain necessary credentials, and maintain physical readiness.
• Valid passport for at least one year and ability to obtain required visas.

Required skills

• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools such as MS Excel and Power BI.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
