Maintenance Analyst

About the role

Amentum is hiring a Maintenance Analyst in Mombasa, Westlands. The analyst analyzes, evaluates and optimizes maintenance programs and operations to maximize equipment reliability, minimize downtime and meet organizational and client requirements. The role works closely with maintenance teams to collect data, spot trends and recommend improvements.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze maintenance programs, schedules and activities to find inefficiencies and areas for improvement
• Monitor fleet and equipment performance data to optimize uptime and reliability
• Evaluate and recommend changes to maintenance plans, schedules and procedures in line with operational goals and manufacturer guidelines
• Develop and maintain accurate maintenance reporting systems and prepare performance reports with data-driven insights
• Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on equipment failures and build corrective and preventive maintenance strategies
• Support predictive and preventive maintenance programs
• Review maintenance history to forecast future needs and ensure compliance with standards and policies
• Work with supervisors, technicians and management on training needs, workflow improvements and performance tracking

Required profile

• Three years of experience in maintenance analysis, planning or a related role involving data analysis and operational optimization
• Knowledge of maintenance processes, concepts and industry standards, especially equipment and system reliability
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read, speak and understand English well enough to carry out the contract and follow emergency procedures
• Valid passport for at least one year at hiring and ability to obtain country-specific visas and facility credentials
• Ability to pass contract medical requirements and stay physically ready during deployment
