Manager – Climate Change & Sustainability

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager – Climate Change & Sustainability to join our growing team. The role will lead high‑impact consulting assignments across climate change, climate finance, renewable energy, climate‑smart agriculture and natural resource management, supporting governments, development partners, financial institutions and private‑sector clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage consulting assignments in climate change, climate finance, renewable energy, climate‑smart agriculture, natural resource management and sustainability.
• Provide high‑quality technical assistance to governments, development partners, financial institutions and private‑sector clients.
• Develop innovative solutions addressing climate adaptation, mitigation, resilience and green‑growth challenges.
• Ensure timely delivery of project outputs within agreed timelines and budgets, overseeing planning, implementation, quality assurance and reporting.
• Identify new business opportunities, contribute to proposal development and build strategic relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Lead research studies, produce reports, policy briefs and knowledge products, and monitor emerging trends and regulations.
• Engage with ministries, regulators, development finance institutions, donors and private‑sector organisations, facilitating workshops and capacity‑building programmes.
• Mentor junior consultants, promote collaboration and support resource planning across multidisciplinary teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Climate Science, Sustainability or a related discipline.
• Proven experience delivering consultancy or technical advisory services in climate change, climate finance, renewable energy, climate‑smart agriculture or natural resource management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams across multiple countries.
• Strong analytical and project‑management capabilities with a track record of delivering high‑quality outputs on time and within budget.
