Manager/Consultant Statistician

About the role

ICON plc is seeking an experienced Manager/Consultant Statistician to lead statistical design, analysis, and interpretation for clinical trials supporting a top pharmaceutical client. You will ensure rigorous data analysis, regulatory compliance, and high‑quality reporting across multiple studies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement statistical analyses for clinical trials, including development of statistical analysis plans and result interpretation.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define study objectives, data requirements, and appropriate statistical methodologies.
• Provide expert statistical guidance for protocol development and data analysis strategies.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices in statistical reporting.
• Mentor and support junior statisticians, fostering a collaborative team environment.

Required profile

• Advanced degree in Biostatistics, Statistics, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in biostatistics within the clinical research industry.
• Proven track record designing and analyzing clinical trial data.
• Strong analytical skills and thorough understanding of clinical trial methodology and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities.
