Marketing and SEO Intern

About the role

Acumen Strategy is seeking a Marketing and SEO Intern to support its digital marketing initiatives. This remote position offers hands‑on experience in the financial services and advisory sector, helping to increase visibility and engagement for the firm and its product ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market and keyword research to inform SEO strategy.
• Assist with SEO optimization of website content.
• Support the creation and scheduling of social media and email campaigns.
• Track basic performance metrics and prepare simple reports.
• Collaborate with marketing and business teams to refine messaging for wealth managers and advisory firms.
• Help prepare marketing collateral and outreach materials.

Required profile

• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Experience or interest in market research and marketing strategy.
• Basic understanding of sales and lead‑generation concepts.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and digital marketing channels, or a willingness to learn quickly.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and able to work independently in a remote setting.
• Currently enrolled in or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field; interest in financial services is a plus.
