Marketing & Digital Executive

About the role

The Marketing & Digital Executive will lead the execution and optimisation of the brand strategy across Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania and Zambia. You will drive regional revenue growth through data‑driven marketing initiatives and ensure consistent brand experience across all touchpoints.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain brand custody and consistency across all countries, media platforms and customer touchpoints.
• Develop and execute marketing strategies and content that support sales growth and brand awareness.
• Monitor brand sentiment to identify risks, opportunities and market‑specific insights.
• Manage media buying to achieve value for money, optimal reach and KPI targets.
• Oversee community management on digital platforms, ensuring engagement and brand positioning.
• Maintain integrated marketing calendars aligned with business objectives.
• Lead, coach and develop the marketing team for performance and succession planning.
• Drive corporate and product brand differentiation and top‑of‑mind awareness.
• Manage execution of internal and external campaigns, including production of marketing collateral.
• Oversee key brand touchpoints such as websites and social media platforms.
• Manage regional marketing budgets, ensuring cost control and KPI delivery.
• Track and evaluate marketing performance to ensure ROI and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing and brand management within a sales‑driven environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Marketing or Business Administration.
• CIM Level 6 certification (mandatory).
• Strong commercial awareness and customer focus.
• Excellent communication and pitching abilities.

Required skills
