Marketing Executive – Field Marketing, Mwiki Branch

About the role

Scion Hospital is looking for a proactive, energetic and results-driven Marketing Executive to join its Mwiki Branch team. The role is full time and on site in Nairobi, and focuses on community engagement, growing patient numbers, building referral networks and promoting hospital services to expand the branch's market presence and revenue. Key responsibilities

• Carry out daily field marketing and community outreach in Mwiki and surrounding areas.
• Build relationships with SACCOs, chamas, churches, schools, businesses, community groups and other local institutions.
• Promote hospital services such as outpatient, maternity, laboratory, pharmacy and other specialised services.
• Develop referral networks with local businesses, pharmacies, community leaders and healthcare providers.
• Organise community health awareness campaigns, wellness activations and medical outreach programmes.
• Pursue corporate and institutional opportunities such as staff medical check-ups and wellness programmes.
• Generate new patient leads and increase patient attendance and repeat visits.
• Identify competitors, customer needs and emerging opportunities through market intelligence.
• Support digital marketing, including social media engagement and community-based promotions.
• Keep daily field activity records and submit weekly reports on visits, leads, partnerships and conversions.

Required profile

• Diploma in Marketing, Sales and Marketing or Business Administration, or a Certificate in Marketing or Sales with 1-2 years of relevant field marketing experience.
• Practical experience in community marketing, outreach, SACCO membership recruitment, FMCG or direct sales.
• Experience in market penetration, customer acquisition, lead generation and relationship management.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation skills.
• Proactive, self-driven, target-oriented and comfortable working in the field.
• Added advantage: experience in healthcare marketing, pharmaceutical or insurance sales, microfinance or community mobilisation.

Required skills

• Familiarity with social media marketing.
• Good computer skills.
