M&E Advisor for HIV & STI Programs

About the role

The International Centre for Reproductive Health (ICRH) is seeking a Monitoring & Evaluation Advisor to strengthen HIV and STI data systems in Kenya. The role will work closely with the Ministry of Health and national stakeholders to improve data collection, reporting and visualization.

Key responsibilities

• Map STI stakeholders at national and sub‑national levels.
• Review existing STI data collection and reporting tools and identify gaps.
• Lead the development of new STI data collection and reporting tools.
• Review the national STI M&E framework, identify gaps and co‑design a robust framework with indicators.
• Collaborate with the Ministry of Health and partners to institutionalize the new M&E framework and data visualisation dashboards.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience supporting Kenya’s national HIV and STI programmes and Ministry of Health structures.
• Strong understanding of health‑system strengthening for HIV and STI prevention and care.
• Experience with DHIS2, Taifa care (Tiberbu HMIS and KenyaEMR), KHIS and other electronic health information systems.
• Prior work with government under donor‑funded programmes is an advantage.
• Master’s degree in Monitoring & Evaluation, Health Informatics, Public Health or related field; clinical background is a plus.
