Medical Records Paralegal

About the role

We are seeking a Medical Records Paralegal to join our personal injury law firm. The role involves managing medical records and billing requests to support our attorneys and ensure timely case progress.

Key responsibilities

• Extensively use RingCentral and the Casee case management system.
• Identify pending medical records and billing requests based on Casee due dates.
• Determine the appropriate medical facilities or departments for contact.
• Locate, review, and interpret previously submitted records and billing requests.
• Communicate with medical providers via phone or written correspondence.
• Enter data documenting communications with providers and set follow‑up dates.
• Notify the assigned paralegal of any issues requiring attention.

Required profile

• At least one year of relevant legal experience preferred.
• Tech‑savvy and comfortable learning new software.
• Strong decision‑making aligned with company guidelines.
• Detail‑oriented with excellent organizational skills.
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
