Medical Sales Representative

About the role

We are seeking a commercially driven healthcare sales professional to open new markets, build strong client relationships, and convert opportunities into sales for our client in the healthcare industry.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities across the healthcare market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, nurses and other healthcare customers.
• Grow existing brands, develop customer accounts and achieve sales targets.
• Conduct market research, analyse trends and identify growth opportunities.
• Deliver product presentations, negotiate with prospective customers and close sales.
• Maintain accurate sales records, prepare marketing reports and inform the Sales Manager of market developments and competitor activity.
• Coordinate product launches, supplier engagements and company events.

Required profile

• A degree or diploma in a relevant science or healthcare field, or nursing qualifications/experience.
• At least three years' proven medical sales experience with a track record of generating new business and achieving sales targets.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, communication and relationship‑management skills.
• Commercial awareness and ability to understand and communicate the value of healthcare products.
• Critical thinking, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities and take initiative.
• Willingness to travel for at least two weeks per month.
