About the role
Durham International Schools is looking for a Music Teacher based in Nairobi, Westlands. The post is full time and covers music teaching for students up to IGCSE and A Level.
Required profile
- A good honours degree and a teacher training qualification for the 11 to 18 age range.
- At least two years of teaching experience, ideally five or more.
- Ability to teach Music up to IGCSE and A Level.
- For applicants from Kenya: a valid Teacher Services Commission certificate; for overseas applicants: a PGCE, Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a general education degree.
- Skilled classroom practitioner with strong subject knowledge and awareness of teaching methodology.
