National Pharmaceutical Sales & Distribution Manager

About the role

Tharaka Honeybee Products Ltd is looking for a National Pharmaceutical Sales & Distribution Manager to lead the nationwide expansion of its Apitherapy product portfolio. The role builds and manages a pharmaceutical sales and distribution network across Kenya and is an on-site management position based in Nairobi.

Key responsibilities

• Develop the national sales and distribution strategy.
• Recruit, lead and manage regional sales teams.
• Build relationships with pharmacies, chemists, wholesalers and distributors.
• Drive product listing, market penetration and sales growth.
• Set targets, monitor KPIs and territory performance.
• Monitor market trends, competition and new opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations.

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Technology, Life Science, Sales, Marketing, Business or a related field.
• 5-7 years of pharmaceutical, OTC or healthcare sales experience.
• 3+ years of sales leadership or supervisory experience in a pharmaceutical and healthcare environment.
• Proven team leadership and revenue growth.
• Pharmacy and distributor relationships are an advantage.

Required skills

• Strong leadership, negotiation and analytical skills.
• CRM and sales reporting proficiency.
