NGIS Building Manager

About the role

Amentum is seeking an NGIS Building Manager to support a U.S. Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role oversees daily operations of Navy Gateway Inns & Suites, ensuring compliance with lodging standards and delivering a safe, high‑quality guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Manage building maintenance, housekeeping, front desk, and guest services.
• Conduct regular inspections, coordinate corrective and preventive maintenance, and maintain accurate records.
• Oversee inventory of supplies, equipment, and furnishings required for operations.
• Train, mentor, and supervise staff performing housekeeping and facility support functions.
• Address guest concerns, enforce safety, environmental, and quality standards, and communicate updates to supervisors and Navy leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in lodging management, hotel operations, or facility management.
• High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or facility‑management certifications preferred.
• Valid passport (with at least one year remaining) and ability to obtain required visas and security clearances.
• Ability to meet contract medical requirements and maintain facility credentials.
• Proficiency in English sufficient to perform contract duties and follow emergency procedures.

Required skills

• Experience with Navy lodging standards or military hospitality environments (preferred).
• Strong leadership, attention to detail, and ability to follow technical and administrative instructions.
• Capability to work in remote, industrial or shipboard settings.
• Valid driver’s license.
