Nutritionist

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a full-time Nutritionist in Allsops within the wellness, nutrition and personal care industry. The role centres on assessing customers' nutritional needs and giving evidence-based nutrition and wellness advice, supported by product knowledge and good customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Assess customers' nutritional needs, dietary habits, wellness goals and lifestyle factors through professional consultations, and give tailored, evidence-based nutrition and wellness advice.
• Develop practical nutrition recommendations and guide customers on healthy dietary and lifestyle choices.
• Maintain strong knowledge of nutritional supplements, vitamins and wellness products, and recommend them appropriately with clear guidance on use.
• Stay up to date with developments in nutrition, wellness products and industry trends.
• Deliver friendly, informative consultations, build customer relationships through follow-up and personalised guidance, and answer questions accurately within the scope of practice.
• Keep accurate and confidential consultation and recommendation records, and ensure product information and advice are accurate and professionally communicated.
• Follow professional, health, safety and company standards, and work with the sales and wellness teams to support customers and improve service.
• Support product education and awareness initiatives, and give management feedback on customer needs and product trends.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from a recognised institution.
• At least 2 years of relevant experience in nutrition, wellness, dietary supplements, retail health or a related environment.
• Strong knowledge of nutritional supplements, vitamins and wellness products, and good understanding of nutrition assessment and dietary guidance.
• Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain nutrition and product information clearly.
• Attention to detail, professional ethics, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
