Officer, Trade Finance

About the role

The Officer, Trade Finance is responsible for the efficient and compliant execution of trade finance transactions. You will ensure that documentary credits, collections, guarantees and related products are processed accurately while adhering to international standards and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Process Documentary Credits, Collections, Guarantees, Standby Credits and Supply Chain Finance transactions.
• Maintain compliance with ICC rules (UCP 600, ISBP, URC, URDG) and local AML/CFT regulations.
• Identify and promptly escalate operational, compliance and credit risks.
• Act as the primary liaison between clients, internal stakeholders and external counterparties.
• Manage transaction processing, reconciliation and documentation management.
• Support continuous improvement of trade finance processes and digital platforms.

Required profile

• First degree and a professional certification such as CDCS or CTFP.
• 2‑3 years banking experience, with at least one year in trade operations.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and handle complex customer queries.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
