About the role

Join Crimson Global Academy as an Online Teacher for Junior High Social Studies (Grade 8). You will lead live, real‑time classes for motivated students worldwide, covering US history, civics and the foundations of society.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging live lessons tailored to a diverse, international student group.
• Utilise a variety of teaching strategies and digital tools to create an interactive online classroom.
• Assess student progress, provide targeted feedback and adapt instruction for optimal outcomes.
• Maintain clear course schedules, lesson plans and assessment timelines.
• Set meaningful homework, design and administer tests, and contribute high‑quality materials to CGA’s resource library.
• Manage the online classroom on Canvas, keeping assignments and assessments well‑organized.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience in a middle/junior high school setting (Grades 6‑8).
• Bachelor’s degree or higher in History, Social Studies or a related field.
• Exceptional communication skills for interaction with students, parents and the CGA team.
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and a passion for technology‑enabled education.
• Knowledge of US middle‑school curriculum and age‑appropriate teaching approaches.
