About the role
This is an opportunity for a technically strong, organised and safety‑conscious theatre professional who values multidisciplinary teamwork and is excited to practise in a modern, team‑based, tech‑enabled care environment.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare equipment and consumables for scheduled and emergency procedures.
- Maintain theatre infection‑prevention and sterilisation standards.
- Work closely with obstetricians, anaesthesia providers, nurse midwives and the theatre squad.
- Participate in theatre drills, audits and continuous quality‑improvement initiatives.
Required profile
- Relevant qualification in Theatre Technology or Perioperative Technology.
- Experience working in an operating theatre; maternity theatre experience is an advantage.
- Comfortable using digital tools, data and structured workflows to improve care.
- Team‑oriented, aligning with Malaica’s values of ambition, kindness and transparency.
