About the role

The Operations Executive will coordinate and execute daily logistics operations, ensuring efficient cargo movement across East Africa. This role involves managing shipments, liaising with partners, and overseeing customs and warehousing activities to meet client expectations.

Key responsibilities

Manage end‑to‑end shipment processes for sea, road, and cross‑border operations.
Liaise with shipping lines, transporters, and clients to ensure smooth cargo flow.
Oversee customs clearance procedures, both local and transit.
Coordinate warehousing activities and prepare shipping documentation.
Track shipments, provide status updates to clients, and resolve operational issues.

Required profile

Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or a related field.
3‑5 years of experience in logistics or freight forwarding within Eastern Africa.
Knowledge of local and transit customs processes.
Familiarity with road and transit corridors across East Africa.
Fluent in English and Swahili.
Basic computer skills.
