Operations Manager

About the role

Precision Well Servicing is seeking an Operations Manager to lead day‑to‑day activities of its field superintendents and ensure safe, efficient well‑servicing operations across Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Protect health and safety of public, employees and contractors while complying with laws, regulations and company standards.
• Oversee planning, organization and coordination of all well‑servicing activities.
• Lead investigations and provide input to maintain capital and operating budgets.
• Ensure superintendents understand PWS policies and government regulations.
• Coach, mentor and manage performance of direct reports, conducting regular site visits and process confirmations.
• Measure and audit operational performance, driving continuous‑improvement initiatives.
• Maintain cost‑effective field operations, optimizing productivity within budget constraints.
• Provide strategic direction to field supervisors and rig managers to support growth.
• Develop staffing strategies to ensure the right competencies and training for field personnel.
• Monitor customer satisfaction, explore new market opportunities and manage division profitability.
• Approve downtime spend, purchase orders, VISA statements and resolve ETS discrepancies.
• Conduct monthly and quarterly financial reviews and deliver timely reports.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED (preferred); Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field is an asset.
• 5+ years of progressive supervisory experience.
• 10+ years of progressive service‑rig experience.
• Proven experience in operations management within multiple well environments (gas, oil, sweet, sour, deep, multi‑zone, slant, horizontal, etc.).
