Part-time Lecturer – Health Systems Management

About the role

The university seeks a part‑time lecturer to deliver public‑health courses and support curriculum development in health systems, services, records and informatics.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver lectures, tutorials and seminars to undergraduate and graduate students in public health.
• Design, develop, review and implement curricula and syllabi, and moderate examinations.
• Provide academic advising, mentorship and supervise postgraduate research projects.
• Participate in departmental, faculty and university committees, quality‑assurance and accreditation activities.
• Conduct independent and collaborative research, apply for and manage grants, and publish findings.

Required profile

• PhD in Public Health (Health Systems Management, Health Services Management, Health Records and Information Management or Health Informatics) or related discipline.
• At least three years of university teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Demonstrated experience in curriculum design, postgraduate supervision and academic committee work.
• Evidence of scholarly publications and successful research grant management.
