Payroll Specialist

About the role

The Payroll Specialist supports our growing client base by handling all payroll‑related processing activities, ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day payroll processing support for scheduled and off‑cycle payrolls.
• Import or manually enter payroll changes, calculate payroll, and generate control totals for import files.
• Respond to client inquiries via email, case management, and phone.
• Partner with Payroll Supervisors on special projects and manage an assigned book of business.

Required profile

• Effective time management and accurate record‑keeping.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask while maintaining high accuracy and attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of customer service experience.

Required skills

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data validation).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, and PowerPoint.
