Peacekeeper Inn Manager

About the role

Amentum is seeking a Peacekeeper Inn Manager to oversee all aspects of the Peacekeeper Inn on Diego Garcia, supporting a unique US Navy program. The role includes managing lodging, recreation, food and beverage, and entertainment services while ensuring compliance with government and organizational standards.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily hospitality, recreational, and entertainment operations to meet customer satisfaction objectives.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures that optimize efficiency, service quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Manage staff performance, training, and motivation to maintain high service standards.
• Control budgets, procurement, and costs to achieve financial targets without compromising quality.
• Plan and oversee events and programs that enhance recreational and entertainment offerings.
• Respond promptly to emergencies, ensuring on‑site availability within one hour of notification.
• Monitor facility conditions, cleanliness, safety, and health guidelines.
• Provide regular reports on operations, budget performance, customer satisfaction, and staff productivity for government review.

Required profile

• Four‑year degree in business, hospitality, food, or recreation management, or equivalent experience.
• At least five years of middle‑manager experience in a civilian commercial hospitality or recreation setting.
• Demonstrated knowledge of recreation, food service, lodging, and entertainment operations.
• Strong leadership, communication, and customer‑service skills.
• Valid passport with ability to obtain required visas and pass medical and security clearances.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Point of Sale (POS) systems.
• Inventory management and record‑keeping for hospitality operations.
• Budgeting and financial performance management.
• Emergency response certifications: CPR, First Aid, Food Safety and Sanitation, Alcohol Server Intervention (if applicable).
