People Services Intern – Remote Hospitality Internship

About the role

Kerten Hospitality is offering a remote People Services internship (Remoteship) that gives ambitious students real‑world exposure to HR functions across its global hospitality portfolio. You will work on live projects, supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement for multiple properties.

Key responsibilities

• Support the People Services team during pre‑opening and operational phases, ensuring alignment with Kerten Hospitality standards and timelines.
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding tasks, including CV screening, interview coordination, offer preparation, and induction support.
• Coordinate employee documentation, contracts, addendums, and personnel records while maintaining confidentiality and local compliance.
• Collaborate with Operations, Finance, IT, and Marketing teams to facilitate people‑related initiatives and internal communication.
• Prepare HR reports, trackers, presentations, and analytics using the Microsoft Suite.
• Contribute to training and induction programs to help new joiners understand company culture, policies, and procedures.
• Support employee engagement, wellbeing, and ESG/UBBU initiatives across properties.
• Act as a liaison between corporate People Services and property teams, enabling effective remote collaboration.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Hospitality, Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong interest in HR within the hospitality industry and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) for reporting and presentations.
