About the role
The Pharmaceutical Technologist will manage pharmaceutical care and dispensing within Jocham Hospital, ensuring safe and effective medication use for patients.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare, review and interpret medication orders according to doctors' prescriptions.
- Dispense, compound, package and label controlled medications.
- Answer queries from healthcare professionals and counsel patients on drug therapies.
- Adhere to infection control protocols to protect patients and technicians.
Required profile
- Diploma in Pharmacy from a recognized institution.
- Registered and licensed with the Pharmacy and Poisons Board.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
