Pharmacist

About the role

Brites Management Services is hiring a Pharmacist for a full-time position in South B. The role covers dispensing, customer care, stock and inventory management, and compliance with pharmacy regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Accurately dispense prescribed medicines and pharmaceutical products according to prescriptions and professional requirements.
• Advise customers on dosage, administration, storage and safe use of medicines within the scope of practice.
• Receive, organise, store and monitor stock, keeping expiry dates, batch numbers and product movement under control.
• Help with stock counts, ordering, receiving deliveries and keeping accurate inventory records.
• Maintain dispensing, stock and other pharmacy records and ensure compliance with Pharmacy and Poisons Board requirements.
• Keep the pharmacy clean, organised and safe, and work with pharmacists and staff to deliver efficient, customer-focused service.

Required profile

• Diploma in Pharmaceutical Technology or Pharmacy from a recognised institution.
• Valid Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) licence.
• At least 2 years of experience in a pharmacy, hospital, clinic or related pharmaceutical setting.

Required skills

• Good knowledge of dispensing procedures, pharmaceutical products, stock management and pharmacy operations.
• Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and electronic inventory/dispensing systems is an added advantage.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical storage, expiry management and basic regulatory requirements.
