Photocopier Technician

About the role

Amentum is looking for a Photocopier Technician to support a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role involves ensuring all photocopy machines are operational, well‑maintained, and stocked with necessary consumables.

Key responsibilities

• Perform scheduled inspections, cleaning, maintenance, and functional tests according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Diagnose and repair malfunctions to restore full machine functionality.
• Replace worn components such as gears, rollers, and circuits to prevent downtime.
• Manage and stock consumable supplies (toner, cleaning materials, replacement parts) at each site.
• Document service and maintenance activities, track parts usage and schedules.
• Respond promptly to service requests and troubleshoot reported issues.
• Collaborate with supervisors and site managers to ensure seamless equipment operation.
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and functionality for all machines.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience inspecting, maintaining, and repairing photocopiers or similar office equipment.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid passport with at least one year remaining validity and ability to travel internationally.
• Ability to pass contract medical requirements and maintain them throughout deployment.
