Plant Quality Lead

About the role

The Plant Quality Lead will be responsible for developing and maintaining quality systems that ensure products, materials and processes meet the highest standards. This role works closely with production, supply chain and regulatory teams to drive continuous improvement and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain quality policies, procedures and measurement systems aligned with ISO 9001:2000, ISO 14000 family and other regulatory standards.
• Conduct internal, external, customer and regulatory audits according to the audit schedule and report findings to senior management.
• Investigate customer and supplier complaints, manage corrective and preventive actions, and ensure traceability data is available for recalls.
• Support new product introductions, process trials and validation activities, ensuring all laboratory instruments are calibrated and reagents are stocked.
• Monitor and report quality performance metrics and KPIs to supply chain and quality management on a monthly basis.

• Taguchi methods and process re‑engineering techniques.
• Calibration and maintenance of laboratory instruments.
• Management of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
