Plumber – Agricultural Facility

About the role

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, testing, maintaining and repairing site piping, gas lines, irrigation infrastructure, steam boilers and storage units on a farm. The role ensures reliable operation of potable and utility water supplies, sanitary facilities and compliant treatment, recycling and disposal of wastewater.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate plumbing works, installation, repair and maintenance of equipment and appliances within set targets.
• Implement new designs, specifications, sketches and work orders for water or gas installations and extensions.
• Estimate and prepare Bill of Quantities, maintain stock of materials and manage procurement.
• Perform preventive routine maintenance, risk assessments and inspections of water systems, pumps and tanks.
• Conduct water quality testing and monitoring to ensure compliance with health, safety and company standards.
• Provide guidance, training and mentoring to junior plumbers and apprentices.

Required profile

• Diploma in Plumbing.
• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience.
• Knowledge of WHO, NEMA, WRA and company policies on clean water and wastewater.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and teamwork skills.
