POS Back Office Support

About the role

The POS Back Office Support role assists the POS Operations team in configuring devices, managing inventory, and providing logistical and technical support across local and regional warehouses.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure POS programming and installation assignments are completed.
• Prepare TMS, download POS software, and perform key injection when required.
• Provide merchant staff with operational and fraud‑related best‑practice guidelines.
• Manage POS replacement assignments and handle new application releases, including testing before production rollout.
• Remove and delete terminals from the database as needed.
• Maintain up‑to‑date inventory records and synchronize them with production applications.
• Implement new projects and program terminals to accept new products and services.
• Conduct merchant visits to resolve operational and technical issues, offering first‑level support and escalating to field engineers when necessary.
• Complete business‑as‑usual tasks within agreed turnaround times and review support activity MIS with the line manager.
• Track field team productivity and share daily MIS reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum five years of experience in POS operations or related back‑office functions.
