Pre‑Sales Specialist – Google Cloud Platform

About the role

Abacus Consulting is looking for a Pre‑Sales Specialist with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join its Cloud Solutions team. You will act as a strategic technical advisor, partnering with clients to understand business challenges and design scalable, secure GCP solutions that drive digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead pre‑sales discussions, discovery workshops, and technical deep‑dives with customers.
• Present GCP capabilities, best practices, and architectural recommendations.
• Develop customized solution proposals, technical documentation, and value‑driven presentations.
• Design scalable, cost‑effective GCP architectures covering compute, storage, networking, security, DevOps, and data services.
• Create architecture diagrams, proof‑of‑concepts, and demo environments.
• Recommend migration strategies for on‑premise or multi‑cloud environments.
• Support sales teams with technical inputs for bids, RFPs, and pricing models, highlighting API analytics, AI insights, and governance frameworks.
• Collaborate with Sales, Delivery, and Practice Leads to ensure smooth handover from pre‑sales to implementation.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a GCP consultant or solution architect.
• Strong technical expertise in Google Cloud services and cloud architecture.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate complex requirements into clear designs.
• Team‑player mindset with experience working across sales, delivery, and practice teams.
