Presales & Technical Engineer (ManageEngine & Zoho)

About the role

NSI RAI Limited is looking for a Presales & Technical Engineer based in Westlands, Nairobi, to support the sales process through technical consultations, demonstrations, proof-of-concept deployments, solution design, implementation, customer training and post-sales support. The role works closely with customers and internal teams to ensure successful deployment and adoption of ManageEngine and Zoho solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Discovery sessions, product demonstrations, solution design, RFP/RFQ responses and POCs to close deals
• Installation, configuration and integration of ManageEngine and Zoho solutions with Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Azure AD, including migrations, UAT and go-live support
• Level 1 and 2 technical support, troubleshooting, health checks, performance assessments and end-user/administrator training
• Security, compliance and backup reviews, and preparation of health-check reports

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Telecommunications or a related field
• 2-5 years of experience in presales engineering, technical consulting, systems engineering or a similar role
• Hands-on experience implementing and supporting ManageEngine and/or Zoho solutions
• Relevant certifications in ManageEngine, Zoho, Microsoft technologies or ITIL are an added advantage

• Microsoft 365
• Databases: PostgreSQL, MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server
• Experience with technical demonstrations, workshops and POCs
• Understanding of ITSM, endpoint management, identity management, cybersecurity, IT operations, observability and CRM solutions
