Procurement / Supply Chain Clerk

About the role
The Procurement / Supply Chain Clerk supports the efficient acquisition and management of goods and materials for a manufacturing environment. You will work closely with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery, accurate inventory, and compliance with company policies.
Key responsibilities
- Source quotations, prepare purchase orders and follow up on supplier deliveries.
- Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation and filing systems.
- Monitor stock levels, receive, inspect and record incoming goods, and conduct regular stock counts.
- Liaise with suppliers on pricing, delivery schedules and order status, tracking shipments to meet agreed timelines.
- Prepare procurement and inventory reports for management and support audit activities.
Required profile
- Diploma or degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in procurement, stores or supply‑chain operations.
- Knowledge of procurement procedures, inventory management and supplier coordination.
- High level of accuracy, integrity and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work under minimal supervision.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with inventory management systems.
