Product Manager - Nutrition Experience

About the role

VALD is a technology company for the allied health industry, and BridgeAthletic is its training prescription platform used by thousands of strength and conditioning programs. This Product Manager role owns the nutrition experience end to end: the workflows coaches use to create and deliver nutrition guidance and track athlete compliance and progress, plus the athlete side of logging meals in the app. You will work closely with engineering, design and other teams to turn ideas into shipped products.

Key responsibilities

• Own projects from start to finish: write requirements, run the rhythm with engineering, manage scope in flight and keep projects moving to release.
• Turn problems into solutions: analyse the roadmap's problems and priorities, work through edge cases and trade-offs so the product works in the real world.
• Own launches: ensure releases are ready, documentation and internal teams are prepared, and measure results after launch.
• Shape the roadmap: analyse user feedback and usage data to recommend what to build next.
• Learn the domain: build a strong understanding of strength and conditioning and how coaches work day to day.

Required profile

• 1+ years in project management or a similar role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to explain requirements, decisions and ideas clearly to teams.
• Strong execution, with a track record of keeping projects moving and spotting risks early.
• Attention to detail, thinking through edge cases before they reach QA or customers.
• Data-driven approach, using product data to inform decisions.
• Strong prioritisation and collaboration, managing competing priorities and keeping teams aligned.
• Genuine curiosity about the domain and a growth mindset aligned with VALD's culture of continuous learning.
• Nice to have: a background in nutrition, coaching or competitive athletics.
