About the role
We are looking for a professional welder with solid experience in modern welding techniques to join our construction team in Westlands, Nairobi. The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality welding and fabrication work while using digital tools to report progress.
Key responsibilities
- Perform MIG, TIG, Arc and CO₂ welding to produce precise welds.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and technical specifications.
- Operate, maintain and safely handle welding equipment.
- Use smartphones, tablets or computer applications to log work progress and communicate updates.
- Inspect completed welds to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with production and site teams to meet project timelines.
Required profile
- At least 3 years (36 months) of professional welding experience.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Relevant welding certification is an advantage.
