Program Manager – Digital Health Projects

About the role

Girl Effect is seeking a Program Manager to lead the operational, technical and programmatic delivery of its digital health portfolio in Kenya. You will ensure high‑quality execution, compliance with donor requirements and alignment with the organization’s mission to empower girls through innovative media.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee Kenya country‑office activities, ensuring adherence to donor reporting, financial processes and internal policies.
• Develop and track annual, quarterly and monthly work plans, monitoring progress against targets.
• Supervise consultants serving as focal points for global network members and country projects.
• Collaborate with project teams, headquarters technical services and subcontractors to meet program objectives on time and within budget.
• Maintain the programmatic and financial health of a complex portfolio of digital health projects.
• Provide specialized subject‑matter support in digital health and technology project management.
• Support donor relations and contribute to departmental initiatives, including the preparation of technical documents and presentations.

Required profile

• Strategic thinker capable of translating program vision into impactful delivery.
• Proven partnership‑building skills with experience working across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of donor compliance, government regulations and non‑profit operational standards.
• Ability to manage high‑complexity projects and supervise external consultants.
