Project Coordinator – Nutrition (National & Nairobi County)

About the role

The Project Coordinator – Nutrition will lead the implementation of nutrition‑sensitive interventions across Nairobi County and selected national counties, supporting World Vision’s mission to improve maternal and child health in Kenya.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee field‑level implementation of nutrition projects, ensuring activities are delivered on time, within approved plans and budgets.
• Lead technical assessments on maternal, infant and young child nutrition and iodine deficiency disorders in Baringo, Marsabit, Samburu, Wajir, Isiolo, Turkana, Busia, Moyale and Nairobi.
• Coordinate with nutrition technical working groups to plan and execute national‑level activities.
• Manage project budgeting, work with finance staff, and produce financial reports.
• Promote integrated programming that aligns with gender equality, child protection, disability inclusion and Christian values.
• Engage communities to promote diversified micronutrient‑rich food production and consumption.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in nutrition, public health or community development, preferably in low‑resource settings.
• Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage project deliverables.
• Strong understanding of maternal and child health nutrition interventions.
• Commitment to World Vision’s Christian values and cultural sensitivities.
