Project Manager (Chinese Speaking)

About the role

Q-Sourcing Limited trading as Q-Sourcing Servtec is a manpower management solutions firm operating across the East African region (Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania, Rwanda and South Sudan). On behalf of its client, it is recruiting a competent, skilled and experienced Project Manager to work in Nairobi, Kenya.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate internal resources and third parties and vendors so projects run smoothly.
• Deliver projects on time, in full, within scope and within budget.
• Develop project scopes and objectives with stakeholders and check technical feasibility.
• Plan resources for low and peak seasons and create a detailed project plan to track progress.
• Control changes to scope, schedule and costs, measure and report performance, and escalate matters to senior management.
• Manage client relationships, respond to requests and complaints through phone, email, in person and chat, and resolve issues quickly.
• Ensure service meets the SLA and contracted pricing, and manage contracts using relevant clauses.
• Manage risks and mitigate them to a minimum, and keep comprehensive project documentation.
• Champion safe work procedures and ensure zero injury to staff.
• Be overall responsible for the financial performance of the project(s).

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.
• At least 5 years' experience in a similar or closely related role.
• Proven experience in office administration, customer service or related roles.
• Experience in a medium to large production, processing or manufacturing company.
• Working knowledge of EHS in the production/processing/manufacturing industry.
• Strong people management, communication and interpersonal skills; analytical, with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
• Experience in a human resource outsourcing setting is an added advantage.
