Project Manager (Design‑Led) – Retail Fit‑Out & Interiors

About the role

We are seeking a Design‑Led Project Manager to lead retail fit‑out and interior projects for regional and international brands. You will own the design integrity from concept through to installed completion, ensuring the final environment matches the approved intent despite commercial or programme pressures.

Key responsibilities

• Develop retail concepts into approved schemes, collaborating with in‑house and external designers.
• Produce technical documentation including layouts, elevations, sections, joinery details, RCPs, lighting and finishes schedules.
• Source and specify materials, finishes, fixtures and lighting, managing samples, prototypes and mock‑ups to sign‑off.
• Supervise installation and shop‑fitting on site, checking tolerances, reveals, joints and finish quality.
• Act as primary client contact on design and delivery, presenting and defending decisions while controlling scope creep.
• Build realistic schedules, value‑engineer costs, and assess contractors for quality of craft.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects at different design stages.

Required profile

• 3–7 years of experience in design‑led project delivery (retail fit‑out, shopfitting, interior design or commercial developments).
• Proven track record delivering projects from concept to installed completion.
• Portfolio of completed interior or retail projects (mandatory).
• Degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, Architecture or related design discipline preferred; engineering degrees considered if portfolio demonstrates required skills.
