Project Procurement Manager (m/f/d)

About the role

We are looking for a Project Procurement Manager to join Siemens Mobility’s Rolling Stock Procurement team in Prague. You will be responsible for driving strategic procurement activities across national and international rail projects, ensuring cost‑effective sourcing and timely delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute procurement strategies for project offers and execution phases.
• Coordinate with the specialist procurement team to meet material cost and schedule targets.
• Negotiate with international suppliers, develop sourcing concepts and logistics solutions.
• Analyse tender components and ensure alignment with project schedules and budgets.
• Create internal key performance indicators for project controlling.
• Identify and manage procurement risks, opportunities, changes and claims throughout the project lifecycle.

Required profile

• Completed business or technical university degree (preferred).
• Professional experience in strategic procurement and/or project management.
• Strong knowledge of project management methods and procurement markets.
• Good understanding of contractual and technical product aspects.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Result‑oriented and able to work in an international environment.
