Stock Control Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Stock Control Manager to oversee stock control and material management for a US Navy program on Diego Garcia. The role ensures compliance with government procedures and efficient supply operations ashore.

Key responsibilities

• Manage stock control operations including tracking, ordering, receiving and issuing materials in line with Government Material Management/MIS systems.
• Maintain accurate inventory accountability and ensure stock levels meet operational demands while minimizing excess.
• Utilize and administer N-ERP and other government material management systems to streamline processes.
• Supervise and mentor a team of stock control personnel, monitoring performance and providing training.
• Prepare detailed reports on inventory levels, discrepancies and material flow for management and government stakeholders.
• Identify process improvements and implement corrective actions to enhance accuracy and efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum three years experience as a stock control manager and supervisor.
• At least two years experience or training with N-ERP and non‑mechanized material management procedures.
• Strong knowledge of Government Material Management/MIS systems and related processes.
• Familiarity with supply functions ashore and compliance with Navy and DoD standards.

Required skills

• N-ERP (Navy Enterprise Resource Planning) proficiency.
• Government Material Management/MIS Systems expertise.
