Quality Assurance Specialist – Apparel Manufacturing

About the role

Centric Brands is seeking a Quality Assurance Specialist to lead preventive quality measures across the production lifecycle of its apparel, accessories, and beauty products. The role focuses on strengthening factory capabilities, ensuring compliance with customer requirements, and driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Embed preventive quality measures throughout the production process and support inspection activities as part of an integrated quality management system.
• Implement upstream quality controls, conduct root‑cause analysis, perform risk assessments during PPM and line reviews, and follow up on corrective action plans.
• Provide regular training to vendor and factory teams on customer requirements, quality standards, and best practices.
• Monitor production status, track work‑in‑progress, and identify potential risks to ensure readiness for QA activities.
• Oversee daily factory operations, including compliance issues, internal QC systems, sharp‑tool control, and needle detection.
• Coordinate with sales on order booking issues and ensure timely delivery.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality assurance within the textile or garment industry.
• Strong technical understanding of garment construction, fabrication, trims, and prints.
• Bachelor’s degree in Textile or a related field.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and high attention to detail.
