Quality Assurance Technician

About the role

BURN is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to work closely with the QC team, manufacturing staff, and R&D department. The role ensures that inspection and testing procedures are correctly implemented, maintained, and continuously improved to meet quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Support New Product Development and Operations by collecting test data, drafting reports, and providing quality feedback.
• Maintain technical documentation in line with document‑control and revision requirements.
• Analyse data to spot trends, defects and process deviations, and recommend corrective actions.
• Identify root causes of production issues and implement preventive measures.
• Audit quality jigs, fixtures, tools and equipment to confirm calibration and compliance.
• Ensure products meet organisational, customer and regulatory quality requirements.
• Verify that manufacturing processes adhere to industry standards and regulations.
• Suggest and drive improvements in quality‑control processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing or production, preferably in QA/QC or process engineering.
• Working knowledge of quality‑control methodologies and inspection/testing processes.
• Strong data‑analysis ability using Excel or equivalent tools.
• Familiarity with document‑control systems and revision management.
• Understanding of ISO 9001, EN standards and related industry regulations.
• Basic CAD skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for reviewing drawings and fixtures.
• Experience with quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plans and PPAP.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
