Quality Assurance Technician

About the role

BURN is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician to work closely with the QC team, manufacturing staff, and R&D to implement and maintain inspection and testing procedures. The role supports new product development and ensures product quality standards are met.

Key responsibilities

• Collect test data, draft reports, and provide quality feedback throughout the test period.
• Analyze data to identify trends, root causes of defects, and recommend corrective actions.
• Conduct audits of quality jigs, fixtures, tools, and equipment to ensure calibration.
• Ensure products meet organizational, customer, and regulatory quality requirements.
• Identify and implement improvements in quality control processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in manufacturing, preferably in QA/QC or process engineering.
• Strong data analysis skills using Excel or equivalent.
• Familiarity with document control and revision management.
• Understanding of ISO 9001 and relevant EN standards.

Required skills

• Quality control methodologies and inspection/testing processes.
• Use of measuring instruments.
• Basic CAD skills (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) for reviewing drawings.
• Quality tools such as FMEA, Control Plans, and PPAP.
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing and Six Sigma principles.
