Quality Control / Assurance Personnel

About the role

The Quality Control / Quality Assurance Personnel will plan, implement and monitor quality processes across rope access operations, ensuring compliance with IRATA standards, ISO requirements and client specifications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain the Quality Management System in line with ISO 9001 and IRATA ICOP.
• Conduct regular quality audits, site inspections and equipment certifications.
• Investigate non‑conformances, lead root‑cause analysis and manage corrective actions.
• Prepare and maintain quality documentation, SOPs, audit reports and non‑conformance reports.
• Track quality KPIs and report trends to senior management.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Quality Management, Engineering, OHS or related field.
• ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or equivalent certification; additional QA/QC or HSE certifications are a plus.
• 2–5 years experience in QA/QC, preferably in construction, oil & gas or industrial services.
• Ability to work at height and travel to project sites across Kenya.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 and IRATA ICOP standards.
• Experience conducting audits and managing corrective actions.
• Proficiency in MS Office and quality/document‑control software.
